Welcome to another expression of R Marine's commitment to your boating pleasure. Much like a roadside assistance program, R Assist adds immeasurably to the benefit of being a premier luxury boat owner.
R Assist means you can go cruising with the quiet confidence of knowing that, if you run aground or run out of fuel, have mechanical problems or some other trouble, help is at hand.
Here's how it works. You simply call 1800 RIVIERA and you'll have immediate access to expert advice over the phone. If this fails to rectify the problem, your call will be referred to the nearest R Marine Dealer for additional advice or assistance. Finally, we offer on-water service in selected regions.
Depending on the problem, we may ferry a mechanic out to your boat, arrange for you to be supplied with enough fuel to return to port if that is the problem, or arrange for a tow back to shore.
R Assist does a lot more than just get you back to shore. If you are towed back to a port other than your departure point, we will help you with transport. And if a mechanical problem has immobilised your boat and you are not returned to your home port, we can assist with car rental or hotel accommodation.
We assist in so many other ways too − emergency medical advice, weather details and navigational information, organising marina berthing or hotel accommodation at ports of call, even help with supply of provisions.
R Assist is provided free of charge with every new luxury yacht or boat delivered after November 1, 2005 through the R Marine network. It's a first-class service befitting the quality of your boat and one that makes life safer, more convenient and even more of a pleasure.
On-water assistance is provided by the R Marine Dealer Network and Sea Tow. Currently, this service is only available in Australia.
